the momofuku training camp is a one week paid culinary back of house training program. the candidate works at least one day at each of momofuku’s four new york restaurants: noodle bar, ssäm bar, má pêche and ko.

the program is designed to develop the candidate’s culinary skills and to give the candidate an in depth understanding of working for momofuku with the end goal being permanent job placement. pending a performance review and staffing needs, the candidate will be considered for full time employment with momofuku for a prep or line cook position.

under instruction from the chefs at each restaurant, the candidate will rotate through the different kitchen stations as their skills improve. the candidate will also learn the basics of kitchen operations, as outlined below. the candidate should be prepared to learn though shadowing, on-the-job training, and participation in service. ideal candidates will have prior experience cooking in a professional kitchen. individuals at any stage of their career are encouraged to apply.
